Crisis Intervention, Trauma & Resilience
This track addresses the urgent need for effective mental health responses in times of crisis, including natural disasters, conflict, pandemics, and personal trauma. It will feature best practices in psychological first aid, crisis counseling, and post-traumatic growth strategies. Sessions will highlight resilience-building programs in communities and workplaces. Special attention will be given to trauma-informed care and the prevention of long-term psychological harm. Attendees will learn about innovative technologies for crisis response, such as telepsychiatry and mobile apps. The track will also explore cultural considerations in trauma recovery.
