The City of Love”,the streets of Paris over flow with culture, art, beauty, and history. Whether searching out Monet’s Water Lilies at Musée de l’Orangerie, climbing the many steps of Sacré-Cœur, standing before the Eiffel Tower in awe, or searching out the best crepes along the Seine, Paris is a city that captures the hearts of millions ever year.

In the world of fashion, Paris has its own shows.

The highlight of the Paris in July:

Bastille Day in July:
The programme for the national holiday, which falls on a Thursday in 2018, is packed with events. In the morning the military parade on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées takes place, heading down the ‘most beautiful avenue in the world’ all the way to Place de la Concorde. Cast your eyes skyward for the military flypast, always a thrilling spectacle. In the evening, it’s party time with the firemen’s balls held in a number of fire stations all over Paris Region. Some of the balls are held on the previous night, the 13th, so do check before going. The celebrations wind down with a bang between 11pm and 11.30pm, with a spectacular fireworks display set off from the Eiffel Tower - a brilliant way to end the day!

The legendary US music festival Lollapalooza comes to France, taking place at the Longchamp racecourse on 10th and 28th July.

Another summer film festival is Cinéma au clair de lune, organised by Le Forum des images. For this 17th edition (from 28 July to 13 August), make the most of free open-air screenings in various parts of the capital.

This summer, Paris continues its 28-year tradition of hosting the Quartier d’Été Festival. Also known as the Paris Summer Arts Festival, this is your chance to surround yourself with artistic showcases ranging from dance ensembles, theatrical acts and circus performances. Whether it's on the banks of the Seine River, or at one of the capital's most beloved parks, there's entertainment to be had all over the city. About 15 shows and 100 performances have been organized for your viewing pleasure, and will certainly make your summer in Paris worthwhile.
